Joe Kanfer, chair and venturer of GOJO Industries, will be honored with the Visionary Entrepreneur Award at the LaunchHouse Bootstrap Bash Jan. 19, 2019, in partnership with the Cleveland Jewish News. LaunchHouse and the CJN chose to honor Kanfer not just for his work in continuing the legacy of GOJO’s founders, Goldie and Jerry Lippman, but for his dedication to several philanthropic and social justice causes.
“Joe Kanfer is someone who is not content to maintain the status quo. He helped grow GOJO into the powerhouse that it is today but still found time to serve others and invest in startups. He’s the consummate leader and entrepreneur who is a great role model for all in the entrepreneurial community,” said Todd Goldstein, co-founder and CEO of LaunchHouse.
The event, which will showcase growing area startups, will be at RED Space, 2400 Superior Ave. in Cleveland. The evening will include a strolling dinner by Spice Catering Co., open bar and dancing. Tickets are $110 on or before Dec. 15. After that date, tickets will be $125.
Jill and Brad Helfman and Connie and Neil Waxman are co-chairs.
