Orange High School inducts National Honor Society class

Thirty-nine Orange High School students were inducted into the National Honor Society Sept. 1. Each student inductee is required to maintain at least a 3.75 grade-point average and adhere to the tenets of scholarship, leadership, service and character throughout the year. The ceremony was hosted by National Honor Society president senior Macy Fletcher, from left, who led the new inductees in the reciting of the honor society pledge, along with co-vice presidents Sadie Meyer and Amy Leitson, secretary Allie Yuan and treasurer Pannonica Silvestri, who all lit candles representing each standard. Principal Paul Lucas spoke and members of the high school string ensemble performed. Honoir society advisers are Kelley Mendoza and Bill Brochak.
