Leslie Horwitz, 82, of Aurora, passed on Oct. 14, 2021.

Born Aug. 4, 1939, in Cleveland, Leslie graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. After working at Pepsi for 14 years, he went into sales. Les was president of Decco Alloys for 32 years, and was a partner with his son, Howard. He retired in 2020.

Les loved cars, travel, shopping and art. He went on 26 cruises. He also deeply adored his grandchildren, Kylie and Jack, as well as his dogs.

When he started to laugh, everyone laughed with him. You couldn’t help yourself – it was contagious. Les loved being with friends, whether traveling with them or having dinner with them. Les and his wife, Linda, just celebrated 60 years together.

In addition to his wife and grandchildren, Les is survived by his siblings, Harvey (Natalie, deceased) Horwitz and Dennis Horwitz; children, Howard (Robin, fiance) Horwitz and Heidi (Craig) Boehmke.

Funeral services were held Oct. 17 at Mount Olive Cemetery. The family requests no visitation.
