Howard Koverman, 1945-2019, passed away Sept. 7 at the Hospice of the Western Reserve.

Howard leaves behind his beloved wife, Renee Dolin; and his beloved children, Elana and Ben Koverman. He also leaves behind three beautiful granddaughters.

Howard spent his life as a master artist working in mediums as a painter, illustrator, sculptor, woodworker and more. Howard had a love for airplanes and was a Flying Ace pilot. As well, his original and creative rubber band powered model planes that he spent hours on are now owned, by many thanks to Pennello Gallery where Howard was a partner.

Howard was also the artist for two of the guitars that represented Guitar Mania to benefit United Way, Make A Wish Foundation and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. Although his art was whimsical, some out of paper-mâché, some wood and a lot out of fomecor, he was the true creative force behind Sherri Foxman’s Party411 Events for over 25 years and touched many lives because of this.

Speaking of celebrations, a celebration of life will be held this between 2 to 5 p.m. Sept. 15 at the home of Mickey and Nancy Garson, 28276 Gates Mills Road in Pepper Pike.

Donations if desired can be sent to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 E. 185th St., Cleveland, OH 44119-1330.
