Shirley Adele Lieberman (nee Berkowitz), 94, passed away May 8, 2019, in Beachwood. She was a lifelong resident of the Cleveland area.
Born in Cleveland on June 28, 1924, to Maurice and Leah Berkowitz, Shirley graduated from Glenville High School.
She worked as a financial adviser at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, a position from which she retired.
A past resident board member at R.H. Myers Apartments, Shirley loved painting, jewelry making, reading and being with friends and family. She also had a love of flowers.
Shirley is survived by her daughters, Marilyn Lieberman of Austin, Texas, and Jacqueline (Stephen) Bodart of Fostoria, Ohio; grandson, Michael (Lauren) Bodart; and great-grandchildren, Abigail, Elliot and Oliver Bodart. She was predeceased by her parents, Maurice and Leah Berkowitz; and siblings, Beatrice Berkowitz and Lawrence Berk.
Graveside services were held May 12 at Mount Olive Cemetery.
