Dr. Arthur Weinstein, 75, passed Sept. 6, 2019. Arthur was a resident of Sherri Park Apartments and lived in the Cleveland area for 53 years.
Born April 20, 1944, in Detroit to Eli and Rose Weinstein, Arthur attended Henry Ford High School. He went onto graduate from Wayne State University in 1966 and received his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in 1969.
Arthur, aka “Dr. Toe,” had a private podiatry practice from 1969 to 2019. A member of Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple, he was also involved with the Jewish Federation of Cleveland, Jewish Big Brothers, the Schnurmann House, the Oakwood Club and Shaker 100.
He was a lover of golf, baseball, Cleveland sports and movies.
Arthur is survived by his children, Adam Weinstein of Orlando, Fla. and Rachel Weinstein of Cleveland; grandchildren, Robert Weinstein of Orlando; and sister, Sybil Offen of Detroit. He was predeceased by his parents, Eli and Rose; wife of 34 years, Alice Weinstein; and sister, Evelyn Gendloff.
Services were held Sept. 9 at Anshe Chesed Fairmount Temple. Interment was at Mayfield Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 11 at 25805 Fairmount Blvd. No. 302 in Beachwood.
