Barry Bagels, created by late Detroit-area native Barry Greenblatt, plans to expand further into the Cleveland market.
According to a May 29 post on the brand’s Facebook page, Vance and Jenny Carter of Barry Bagels Avon partnered with Promised Land Bagels, LCC to expand the brand throughout the city. The group has committed to at least six stores in the region.
With the first Cleveland-area location in Avon, the second location hasn’t been decided.
“We’re working super diligently on an east side location and we can’t really announce details at this time,” Jenny Carter told the Cleveland Jewish News. “Details will soon follow.”
Jenny Carter added customers can reach out to the Avon location for any catering needs, as it has a full service deli, as long as the request is done 24 to 48 hours in advance.
“But with many options being examined, expansion will be coming in the near future,” the brand’s corporate Facebook page said. “We will continue to update when new locations are selected, and we are proud to congratulate the Carters and Promised Land Bagels and look forward to more Barry Bagels in the Cleveland market.”
Barry Bagels has 12 locations in Ohio, including 2100 Center Road in Avon, and four in Michigan.
